Remember those days where we chase random dots with crude block of pixels around tiny monochrome screen on infamous Nokia 5110? It's a vintage (or you may say, ancient) device, but it pave way to popularize the early concept of 'smart phones'. It's a wonder of it's time, where phone is no longer simply communication device... you can play with it! Hence the 'snake' become the most played game on that time. Even the legendary Final Fantasy VII released around that time will turn blue when comparing number of players with this simple game. This graphics display, whose resolution of 84 x 48px, get favored around electronic designed as it's simple and easy to install, powerful enough to accomodate most of simple interface design, and most importantly... it's cheap and abundantly available.

Frodo Commodore 64 Emulator for S60

Frodo Commodore 64 emulator for Symbian S60, S80. A new version of the Commodore C64 emulator, Frodo, for S60 3rd Edition has been released. Aside from the S60 3rd edition, Frodo is also available for other platforms — including S60 1st and 2nd edition, Series 80 and UIQ. Frodo is a Commodore 64 home computer emulator. Frodo was released for 9210 on July, 2001. That was the first C64 emulator for any cell phone.

The latest version of Frodo supports also sensors (accelerometer), vibration, on-screen C64 keyboard and audio engine. To enable those those features, you have to install Bilbo library also. Imagine playing Pitstop II by rotating your phone like a steering wheel, or solving Quedex maze by turning the phone in any direction. If you do not want just imagine, look at the YouTube video below and after that get Frodo and Bilbo to your phone! Note that sensors and vibration is not supported in all S60 phone models.

BMW Racing for S60 3^rd Edition is able to offer you the greatest driving experience on mobile phones. Racing Mobile Game. Hands-on announced they licensed BMW for their upcoming BMW Racing game. The mobile game will let you race a bunch of the latest Beemers, including the BMW Sauber Formula 1 car, and the M3, M5 and M6, with realistic handling for each type.

BMW Racing Mobile Game will let players race in one of two different modes – ‘Challenge’ and ‘Time Trial’ – around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, which at 20.8 kilometres long is considered to be the longest, toughest and most demanding purpose-built race track in the world. UK studio FinBlade has developed the game, which will work with the Zeemote JS1 - Mobile Wireless Game Controller.
